| Abstract: |
| Huize lead-zinc mine is a high grade lead-zinc polymetallic ore associated with rich germanium and silver, the occurrence of the associated and scattered germanium metal may be enter crystal lattice of the mineral in the form of isomorphism, and exists in the organic matter and independent minerals in the form of adsorption. Germanium mainly occurs in zinc minerals, and the total germanium in sphalerite, willemite and smithsonite accounts for 95.72%. In mineral processing, germanium was mainly enriched in zinc concentrate with the recovery of zinc at 94.65% and the recovery rate of germanium at 78.89% which reveals that the enrichment of germanium was not totally followed with zinc minerals, part germanium was separated to other minerals. The beneficiation process and flotation reagent system have a great influence on the recovery of associated and scattered germanium, so when studying on the improvement of the recovery of lead and zinc, it is necessary to optimize the mineral processing flowsheet and flotation reagent system to improve the recovery of associated and scattered germanium. |
