| Abstract: |
| This article is focused on the high mud copper oxide ore in Democratic Republic of the Congo.Using leaching slurry as the test object to select of the organic polymer PAM, explores the parameters of leaching slurry concentration, the type and amount of flocculant under the best settlement effection. Then did some technical modification of the thickner, and achieved good results. The results showed that the selection of AN905 flocculant with a molecular weight of 18 to 23 million could meet the production and concentration requirements of high mud oxidized copper mine.According to the sedimentation test, the concentration of the leaching pulp is 20%, and the sedimentation effect of flocculant is the best. The consumption of flocculant is 100g/ ton.The modification of thickener center barrel height ,changing the way of adding the floculant, and adjusting the flocculant addition point can not only effectively solve the problem of flocculation and settlement of high-mud copper oxide leaching slurry during the concentration process, but also reduce overflow losses of valuable metals and the floculant consumption, and increase the production ore processing capacity and achieve good economic benefits for the company. |
