Abstract:
      In order to realize the efficient recovery of fine cassiterite, a new collector BK416 was developed. In order to test the performance of BK416 and reveal the action mechanism of BK416, pH test, collector dosage test, the Zeta potential measurement and infrared spectrum analysis were conducted on the cassiterite single ore. The results show that BK416 has the excellent characteristics of less reagent dosage, wide pH range in flotation and good collection effect. Under the condition of pH = 7 and collector dosage of 10 mg / L, the recovery of cassiterite can reach 91.32%. The mechanism research shows that BK416 is chemically bonds with the tin particles on the surface of cassiterite through the nitrogen and oxygen atoms in its hydroxamic acid group. It provides a new reagent selection for cassiterite flotation, at the same time it provides a reference for the popularization and application of BK416 in cassiterite flotation.
