Abstract:
Aiming at the problems of high content of copper, zinc, sulfur and arsenic in sulfur concentrate roasting residue of a mine in Yunnan and gold coated by iron oxide, this paper carried out experimental research on gold recovery by conventional cyanide leaching and acid leaching-cyanide leaching. The leaching rate of gold by conventional cyanide leaching is 83.76%, and that by acid leaching-cyanide leaching is 85.09%, which is 1.62% higher than that by conventional cyanide leaching. During acid leaching, the leaching rate of copper and zinc are 40.25% and 38.79%, respectively, and the consumption of sodium cyanide in subsequent operations is reduced by 1 kg/t. Under a certain grinding fineness, the acid leaching pretreatment of sulfur concentrate roasting residue can not only improve the leaching rate of gold and reduce the amount of sodium cyanide, but also effectively recover copper and zinc.
