Abstract:
Study of extended experiments at a scale of 1.0 t/d on scrubbing tailings, containing low content of magnesium and high content of silicon, that were generated from a phosphate mine in Yunnan Province. By comparing recleaning of tailings that were generated from roughing and cleaning with respective recleaning of tailings that were generated from roughing and cleaning, it was found that the latter could obtain good benefication indexes. A flotation concentrate containing 29.81% P2O5 with a recovery of 80.09% was obtained and economic efficiency of 105.52 millions will be achieved. The flotation process was stable and the utilization of stockpiled tailings was effectively realized. The mine will obtain a good economic benefit.
