| Abstract: |
| The tailings pond of Tuokuzibayi Gold Ore has been operating for more than a decade, The current capacity cannot fulfills the requirements for Phase Ⅱ production extension. Therefore, the tailings pond has been reconstructed and expanded into a dry storage yard, optimizing the wet-discharge process into the dry-discharge process. This paper dedicates its research focus on the optimal planning and designing of dry-discharge process and equipment, introducing a methodology to select dry-discharge process according to size distribution characteristics of tailings pulp and demonstrating the optimal design outcome of dry-discharge equipment. The research has significant practical implications in improving the efficiency of dry discharge, reducing operational costs, and improving the utilization rate of backwater. |
