| Abstract: |
| In the past, the technology of tailing pond in China is insufficient, and many tailing ponds have the problem of improper design and high potential danger. Taking a tailing pond in Honghe, Yunnan Province as the research object, the numerical analysis model of tailing pond is constructed based on geo Studio software through field investigation, combined with the permeability coefficient and mechanical parameters of tailing body obtained from indoor geotechnical test and mechanical experiment, The seepage law of tailings dam is studied, and the stability of tailings dam is calculated and analyzed. The results show that under three conditions of normal operation, flood operation and special operation, the seepage line on the dam slope surface does not overflow, the dam body of tailings pond is stable, and the seepage damage such as flowing soil and piping will not be caused inside the dam. Two methods are used to analyze the static stability of the dam body and calculate the stability safety coefficient of the dam body in three conditions. The results meet the specifications and the dam body is stable. |
