Abstract:
In view of the problem of high grade of tailings in a copper smelting slag concentrator in Shanxi Province,MLA analysis and particle size sieve analysis were used to find that the main reason is that the poor intergrowth of coarse middling ore can not be recovered well. Based on the analysis results and production practice, the technological process is improved, and middling ore treatment method is changed from “sequential return” to “after concentration, return to secondary grinding”. Coarse-grained lean intergrowth has been effectively reground and reselected, under the condition of 3.88% raw ore grade, concentrate grade is 21.24% and tailings grade is reduced from 0.279% to 0.229%. The improved process can effectively reduce the content of lean and intergrowth in flotation and improve the dissociation degree of copper minerals, has reference significance.
