| Abstract: |
| Natural graphite anode materials is considered to be one of the for lithium-ion batteries due to its low cost, low voltage platform and stable cycle performance. Natural graphite flakes need to be mechanical spheroidized to overcome the its highly anisotropic structure, and then purified, modified by carbon coating before its application as anode materials. In this paper, spherical experimental and chemical purification of a flaky graphite flotation concentrate was conducted, the spheroidization yield and purification efficiency were carefully studied. Spherical graphite product (D50 =16.31μm, tap density of 1.05 g/cm3 ) can be obtained with yield of 40.13%. The spherical graphite product could be chemically purified carbon content of 99.95%, which had reached the level Ⅱ requirement in < GB/T-24533-2019 >. This work provide an important technical reference for the future exploration of the nature graphite resources. |
