Abstract:
      An imported iron ore from abroad,which TFe content 49.11%,The study of process mineralogy found that the massive hematite was wrapped with granular magnetite and limonite,It is vein shaped and network interspersed in gangue minerals,The embedded particle size of some hematite and limonite is too fine to dissociate, which affects the grade and recovery of iron in magnetic separation iron concentrate. Through the condition test, it is determined that the magnetic separation condition of the mineral is that the magnetic field strength of weak magnetic separation is 1000Gs, the field strength of strong magnetic roughing and sweeping are 7000Gs and 11000Gs respectively, and the pulsation impulse of strong magnetic separator is 210rpm. Based on the condition test, the continuous expanded semi industrial test is carried out. The weak magnetic separator adopts SCT-44 permanent magnetic separator and the strong magnetic separator adopts SLon-500 vertical ring pulsating high gradient magnetic separator. The comprehensive concentrate iron grade is 63.24% and the iron recovery rate is 93.67%. The test indicators are good, which provides a reference and test basis for the magnetic separation and recycling of domestic imported iron ores through SLon high gradient magnetic separator
