| Abstract: |
| For the shortcomings of high energy consumption, poor separation effect of antimony and gold and unfriendly environment on present refining process of crude antimony, a novel refining technology of “alkali melting-chloride electrolysis” was proposed according to the different electrode potential of components for crude antimony. The results showed that through the smelting of 30min for crude antimony with addition of 2% Na2CO3 and 3% coal powder at 850 ℃, a suitable antimony anode plate in which the content of As decreased to 0.07% could be casted. Then in the electrolyte of NaCl~150 g/L、HCl~40 g/L、Sb3+~40 g/L, the cathode antimony meeting the quality requirements of GB/T1599-2014 (Sb 99.70) and the anode slime of Au~7076 g/t could be obtained under the optimum conditions of current density of 200 A/m2, electrolyte acidity of 40 g/L and temperature of 45 ℃. The comprehensive recovery of crude antimony has been realized, and the added value of products has increased significantly. |
