Abstract:
A natural flake graphite ore has high fixed carbon content and coarse flake particle size. Focusing on the graphite flake protection, the open-circuit tests were carried out with different rotation speed(RPM) and regrinding medium of stirred mill, and the mineral process flowsheet and key parameters were determined. The results of lab test are obtained as following: the fixed carbon content reach 96.61% and fixed carbon recovery is 85.72% and the yield of +0.15mm size fraction is 62.76%. XCF/KYF flotation machine and GMJ vertical stirred mill were used to enlarge the mineral processing technology of the lab on the 1t/d pilot-scale line and run continuously, the graphite concentrate was obtained by optimized pilot tests with the fixed carbon content 96.11% and fixed carbon recovery 80.53%, the yield of +0.15mm size fraction 59.78%. This study provided technical support for the engineering practice and contributed to the systematic and scientific development for the same type large flake graphite ores.
