Abstract:
Copper ore, zinc ore and cassiterite were recovered by floatation-gravity separation-flotation process in a polymetallic concentrator in Yunnan province. After removing sulfur and iron from copper ore and zinc ore flotation tailings, they are graded by φ250 cyclone. The coarse cassiterite of sand setting is recovered by concentration table and fine cassiterite of overflow is recovered by flotation in overflow. However, there are some problems in fine flotation, such as large dosage of reagent and low grade of flotation concentrate. In order to solve these problems,Experimental study on representative ore samples that were taken from the production site by overflow of φ250 cyclone. The method of pre-desliming and then flotation was adopted to greatly reduce the dosage of cassiterite flotation reagents. The flotation concentrate was selected by a new type of gravity beneficiation equipment of compound force field -- The Spherical- vibrating -rotary , Finally, a good test index of cassiterite concentrate containing 30.93% tin and recovery of 60.57% was obtained.
