Abstract:
A large amount of wastewater generated in the process of copper ore beneficiation, with large discharge, long water flow time and many types of pollutants, is the main cause of pollution of the surrounding environment, water body and soil of the mine. In this paper, the source, basic characteristics and environmental hazards of copper ore beneficiation wastewater are analyzed, and the solid suspended solids, heavy metal ions and residual organic mineral processing agents in copper ore beneficiation wastewater are treated by natural settlement, adsorption, flocculation, chemical precipitation, Fenton oxidation, O3 oxidation and photocatalytic oxidation, and the mechanisms, advantages and disadvantages of various methods are summarized and analyzed. The problems existing in the treatment of copper ore beneficiation wastewater were discussed, and the future research on wastewater treatment was prospected, and a new process of efficient and eco-friendly wastewater treatment should be developed to reduce the pollution of wastewater to the environment and realize efficient wastewater treatment.
