Abstract:
Taking Jinchuan copper nickel sulphide ore as the research object, the flotation behavior of copper nickel sulphide ore during grinding with stainless steel ball, zirconium ball and cast iron ball was studied through flotation test. The results show that the highest recovery rate can be obtained by using zirconium ball grinding, while more gangue floats when grinding with cast iron ball. AFM and ICP were used to study the differences of grinding products in surface morphology, electrochemical properties, etc. The results showed that the particle surface was relatively flat during zirconium ball milling, the pulp potential was high, while the particle surface was relatively rough during cast iron ball milling, more iron ions were detected in the pulp, and the pulp potential was low. These differences led to the differences in ore flotation behavior.
