| Abstract: |
| The flotation separation of galena and chalcopyrite mainly adopts the process of separation of copper by depressing lead. However, the separation of copper-lead has disadvantage such as low efficiency, and the separation of galena and chalcopyrite is still a difficult point in the field of mineral processing. The efficient and selective depressants of galena have become a research hotspot. In recent years, a number of new depressants have been developed in China. In this paper, the depressants of galena are summarized. The depressants are divided into four categories according to their chemical structures and application methods: inorganic depressants, organic depressants, combined depressants and new-type depressants. The structural characteristics, sorting efficiency and action mechanism of four kinds of depressants in recent years are summarized, and the development direction of depressants were prospected in the future. |
