Abstract:
Arsenic factory is a typical heavy metals combined contamination site in China. In this paper, the formation background and pollution status of the sites left behind by the arsenic factory in China was introduced, the basic principles and characteristics of the three main treatment technologies of physical barrier, solidification/stabilization and ecological restoration were reviewed, in which the types of solidification/stabilization materials and their applications were emphasized. Besides, some typical engineering cases were also expounded and the development direction of treatment technology was further analyzed and prospected to provide reference for the remediation and management of arsenic factory contaminated sites.
