| Abstract: |
| The molybdenum in the tailings of a molybdenum mine in Henan is mainly in the form of pyromorphite, distributed in the -530+125μm and -38μm grain sizes, and the vein minerals are mainly calcite-garnet and quartz. Flotation is achieved by introducing an upward flow of water during the separation process, allowing the coarse particles to overcome gravity and rise with the air bubbles. The hydro flotation tailings enrich 0.033% of the molybdenum in the original ore to produce a crude molybdenum concentrate with a grade of 0.081% and a recovery of 92.18%, giving a tailings recovery of 66.91%. |
