Abstract:
The use of filling materials to reinforce the goaf in mines can effectively prevent surface subsidence, and the study of the mechanical properties of filling materials is of great significance to its reinforcement effect. Using tailing sand, cement and blast furnace slag as filling materials, and sodium hydroxide as activator, the influence of different proportions on the mechanical properties of filling materials was studied. The results show that under the action of excitation reaction and hydration reaction, the compressive strength of filling materials increases rapidly and then tends to be flat with the increase of curing age. Considering pressure requirements and changes in compressive strength, the recommended maintenance period is over 21 days. With the increase of the sand-cement ratio, the compressive strength of the filling material decreases rapidly and then tends to be flat. Considering the filling cost and pressure bearing requirements, the sand-cement ratio is recommended to be 4:1. With the increase of the content of blast furnace slag, the compressive strength of the filling material first increases and then tends to be flat. Considering the low cost of blast furnace slag, the compressive performance of the filling material will be significantly improved after the addition of blast furnace slag, and the recommended dosage of blast furnace slag is 20%. In addition, the mass concentration of slurry is recommended to be 62% to 70%, and the dosage of activator sodium hydroxide is 25%. The optimal ratio is applied to an iron mine in Laiwu District, Jinan City. The filling structure is stable and meets the strength requirements.
