| Abstract: |
| Since 2000, multiple tailings pond accidents and secondary river pollution incidents have caused serious environmental pollution. In order to effectively pollute rivers caused by tailings pond accidents and ensure water supply safety, through comprehensive analysis of 40 domestic accidents, it is mainly due to illegal construction and operation, natural disasters such as rainstorm and earthquake, pipeline rupture such as flood discharge and overflow, and has the characteristics of large pollutant discharge, serious pollution, many pollution factors, and difficult emergency disposal. Research has shown that building multi-level interception dams and making reasonable use of various environmental emergency spaces are the most effective emergency response measures for secondary river pollution incidents. For intercepted wastewater, methods such as coagulation sedimentation, adsorption, and redox should be adopted based on the types and properties of pollutants to reduce the concentration and toxicity of pollutants, and ultimately restore the normal state of the river. |
