Abstract:
To investigate the effect of electro-winning pretreatment of copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate on the subsequent copper-molybdenum flotation separation. A three-factor, three-level test was designed using the response surface method to consider the influence of the electrowinning equipment. The test results showed that the optimum electric separation equipment parameters for the concentrate rate were 23.12 KV, 117.75 r/min drum speed of the electric separator, and 4.18 ° angle of the concentrate baffle of the electric separator. The concentrates were subjected to particle size, multi-element analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and flotation tests under the optimum electrowinning conditions. The particle size analysis showed that the electrowinning concentrate was favorable to the next stage of pyromolybdenum flotation, and the multi-element analysis and XRD confirmed that the electrowinning had the effect of removing impurities from the copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate. The flotation test results showed that the flotation recovery of pyromolybdenum increased and the chalcopyrite grade decreased after electrowinning, which proved that the electrowinning pretreatment of copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate was favorable to the next stage of flotation.
