| Abstract: |
| The effects of ore size, acid dosage, SO2 dosage, liquid-solid ratio and leaching time on the leaching efficiency of Cu, Co and impurities Fe, Mn and Si were investigated during the sulfuric acid leaching process of copper-cobalt oxide ore. Furthermore, the economic benefits of single factor enhanced leaching were analyzed. The optimal leaching control conditions were determined, including grinding time of 5 min, pH value of about 1.5, SO2 dosage of 6.37 kg/ t-ore, liquid-solid ratio of 3:1 (mL/g), leaching time of 5 hours. Under these conditions, the leaching efficiency of Cu and Co were 93.67% and 75.90% respectively, Mn was about 87.00%, and Fe and Si were 2.66% and 0.24% respectively. |
