| Abstract: |
| Iron tailings are the residues after the development and utilization of iron ore resources, a large amount of accumulation will occupy the land resources, and the heavy metals such as Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn contained have potential risks to the environment. However, tailings also have considerable reuse value, improving the utilization efficiency of tailings could promote the development of circular economy and promote the process of dual carbon. This paper summarized the current situation of tailings resources in China and the common methods of heavy metal removal in iron tailings, and focused on the principle and removal effect of supercritical CO2 treatment technology, in order to provide guidance for the efficient removal of heavy metals in iron tailings. |
