| Abstract: |
| This paper proposed a new buttress retaining wall with inclined beam. Firstly, QY-Tools was used to design the buttress retaining wall and determined the design size. Then Midas/Gen was used to conduct finite element simulation ,the purpose was to compare the displacement and stress variation trends of the new buttress retaining wall and the traditional buttress retaining wall under the action of Coulomb earth pressure. The results show that the new buttress retaining wall with inclined beam added at the buttress end can optimize the stress distribution, reduce the maximum displacement of the standing plate between the buttresses, realize stress control reinforcement, and meet the requirements of cracks. The forces at the intersection of buttress, vertical plate and toe and heel of wall are complicated, so it is necessary to take strengthening measures in the design process. The forces at other parts are small, and the reinforcement can be optimized. |
