| Abstract: |
| The contents of Cu and S in a low-grade copper-sulfur ore in Sichuan are 0.17% and 2.14% respectively. The gangue minerals are mainly quartz. The flotation indexes of the two schemes of mixed flotation re-separation and preferential flotation were compared. The results show that copper concentrate with copper grade of 7.02 % and recovery rate of 55.18 % and sulfur concentrate with copper grade of 0.56 % and recovery rate of 11.33 % can be obtained by mixed flotation re-separation process. Copper concentrate with copper grade of 3.02 % and recovery rate of 58.79 % can be obtained by preferential flotation process. The copper grade and recovery rate of mixed flotation re-separation concentrate are higher than those of preferential flotation process. The principle process is determined as mixed flotation-rough concentrate regrinding-copper-sulfur separation process. Through a series of single factor experiments, Under the optimum conditions of mixed flotation grinding fineness -200 mesh content 75%, combined collector butyl yellow+butyl black dosage 120+40 g/t, regrinding fineness -400 mesh content 50%, lime dosage 1000 g/t (pH 11.8), Z-200 dosage 30g/t, copper sulfate dosage 200 g/t and butyl yellow dosage 60 g/t in copper separation test, copper concentrate with copper content of 21.61% and copper recovery rate of 79.95%, sulfur concentrate with sulfur content of 37.23% and sulfur recovery rate of 80.32% can be obtained by closed circuit test. The comprehensive index was good. |
