Abstract:
      SiO is currently the most mature material in the commercial application of lithium ion battery silicon anode material, and is mainly produced by evaporation process of SiO2 and Si in industrial production. A problem of low SiO producing efficiency has been plaguing the plant since the reactants, namely SiO2 and Si are solid phase (or micro-molten phase) in the reaction process. The study analyzed the distribution of thermodynamic equilibrium products in the reaction process of SiO2 + Si with different additives, and screened that metal Zn has a better promotion effect on the reaction process. At last, an improvement strategy of SiO2 + Si reaction process enhanced by pellet technology was proposed, to address the technical problem of low SiO producing efficiency caused by the large diffusion resistance of reactants SiO2 and Si in the solid phase reaction process. These results are expected to provide some theoretical reference for the production process of SiO in industrial production.
