| Abstract: |
| In order to achieve the refined design of chimney towers, this article takes a 60m high tower as a design case and introduces the design points and calculation analysis content of the tower structure for more refined considerations in the design process. Firstly, the structural selection was demonstrated and analyzed, and the optimal plane shape and support facade layout in terms of steel consumption and structural stiffness were found. The wind induced vibration response of the structure was expressed in detail. Secondly, the linear calculation results of 3d3s software and midas software were compared and analyzed. The calculation results of the maximum displacement, vibration mode, and support reaction were highly consistent, This further confirms the reliability of the calculation results. Finally, supplementary calculations for earthquake time history analysis, buckling stability analysis, and multi-scale analysis of complex nodes were conducted on the structure. Through the refined consideration in the above design process, the design of the chimney tower structure is more mature and accurate, which can better achieve the economic indicators of the tower structure. |
