| Abstract: |
| Hematite, siderite, limonite, and magnetite are the main iron-containing minerals in one refractory ore in the south region of Shannxi Provence. The valuable minerals are finely disseminated and have a complex embedding relationship with the gangue minerals which tends to?argillization during grinding process. The results indicate that the valuables minerals cannot be separated efficiently using traditional flotation technique while the roasting-magnetic separation, which yields a concentrate containing 61.5% iron with a recovery being 84.3%, maybe one of a promising method. This study underlying a technique support for exploiting refractory iron ore efficiently in Shannan region. |
