| Abstract: |
| In view of the potential hazards of a dump under the action of rainfall, the seepage characteristics of the dump under rainfall conditions are studied in combination with the dumping situation and surrounding environment of the dump. The potential hazards of the dump slope are analyzed, and the corresponding treatment scheme is proposed. The results show that with the continuous rainfall, there will be a transient saturation zone on the surface of the dump slope and it will continue to expand to the inside of the slope. During the rainfall process, the pore water pressure of the slope increased rapidly to a positive value, and then gradually stabilized, and the slope reached a saturated state. Under the action of rainfall, the relative stability relationship of the dump slope is : slope bottom > slope top > slope middle, and its potential hazard site is from +85m platform to +170m platform. By adding a safety platform and slowing down the slope angle, the potential hazards can be effectively controlled. |
