Abstract:
This article focuses on the enrichment and solidification of arsenic in the SO2 reduction leaching solution of high iron and arsenic containing zinc leaching residue produced during the wet zinc smelting process. Research has shown that under the conditions of Cu/As molar ratio of 3.2 and iron powder excess coefficient of 1.2, the arsenic precipitation rate is 98.85%, and the arsenic rich slag contains 19.49% arsenic and 50.47% copper. The arsenic rich slag is used as a leaching agent to gradually leach copper and arsenic components and solidify arsenic in a high-pressure reactor. Research has shown that under the conditions of Fe/As molar ratio of 2.0, initial pH of 1.0, and oxygen partial pressure of 0.4MPa for arsenic fixation, the precipitation rate of arsenic is 98.25%, the precipitation rate of iron is 83.75%, and the arsenic fixation slag contains 23.32% arsenic and 29.98% iron. The process of arsenic fixation not only produces stable storage of odorous onion stone, but also achieves efficient separation of copper and arsenic. After arsenic fixation, the liquid is precipitated with zinc powder to produce copper concentrate containing more than 70% copper, achieving high-value comprehensive recovery and utilization of valuable metal elements.
