Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of excessive fluorine content in copper concentrate from Monywa, Myanmar, a test study of sample properties and flotation defluoridation was carried out. The results show that the copper concentrate contains 20.88% Cu, mainly in the form of chalcopyrite, which is a valuable mineral that can be recovered, and the vein minerals are mainly silicate minerals such as biotite, quartz and tremolite, etc.; the grade of F is 0.25%, which is in the
biotite. Through the test of flotation conditions to determine the better process parameters, that is, grinding fineness of -0.074mm accounted for 86.73%, natural pH, CMC + Soluble starch as a combination of depressant, ethyl yellow drug as a collector, the use of "one coarse, two sweeps, two fine" closed-circuit test process, Obtained copper concentrate with F grade of 0.083%, Cu grade and recovery rate of 22.16% and 91.91%, respectively. The product meets the standard of F grade less than 0.1% in the specification of harmful element limit of copper concentrate. The flotation process is reasonable and the pharmaceutical system is simple, which can provide technical guidance for the defluoridation and upgrading of high-fluorine copper concentrates.
