| Abstract: |
| With the announcement of China"s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, energy conservation and carbon reduction have become a key area of concern for various industries, especially high energy consuming industries. China"s non-ferrous metal production ranks among the top in the world, and as a traditional high energy consuming industry, the non-ferrous metal industry heavily relies on coal resources. This article introduces the current situation of China"s non-ferrous metal industry and proposes that there is still significant potential for carbon dioxide reduction in the non-ferrous metal industry. At the same time, this article further propose path suggestions for reducing carbon emissions in the non-ferrous metal industry. By optimizing the technical means in the non-ferrous metal mining and selection process, improving the utilization of abandoned mine resources, and building green, intelligent, and digital mines, the energy efficiency of the non-ferrous metal industry can be effectively improved, and the achievement of carbon neutrality goals in the non-ferrous metal industry can be promoted. |
